Top 10 Bounce luggage storage locations in New York

I wasn’t sure about storing luggage at a smoke shop / dispensary, especially when I couldn’t find them on the web from Google searching. But I didn’t have another solution for luggage storage. So I gave it a try. It worked out well. Super close (3 min walk) from the 33th street exit of the Amtrak Moynihan Hall at Penn Station. Walk out the exit, go left to 9th. Then walk uptown on 9th. It’s in the left side. Some people say they don’t give you a receipt. That’s true. But they do take pictures of the luggage as you drop it off. That is how they keep track. Check in with your QR code at the smoke shop. If you have only 1-2 pieces, they may keep it at the the smoke shop (in a back room). If you have more, they will ask you to bring it to the dispensary next door. Again, it is kept in the back room behind the counter.

Honestly I was kind of skeptical of this platform in general, but if you find a hotel like this one it’s pretty safe and anxiety reliving. Easy to drop off and pick up. Storage is a slighty further into the hotel inside a storage unit with keypad lock (sometimes fully closed, sometimes not depending on how close the staff is). But yeah this program surprisingly worked well. Can’t speak for other bounce drop off locations though

The concept is fabulous...a service we wished was available as we traveled throughout southern Europe so we're we're thrilled to find it for our day in NYC...abd so convenient to train station. Staff were helpful and we liked the fact that they had us take a picture of our luggage just as we left it there, so no confusion about what was or wasn't checked. My only real issue...and why I gave it less than 5 stars.. is that I was charged....without the option to decline it ..for some sort of shield that was supposedly put over each bag, which clearly was not. The bags were just stashed behind a counter, then later moved into a shelf by the walk in cooler...no extra protection at all. I think bounce should credit me for that.

Making this reservation was not easy for a first-time Bounce user. They would not let me check two daypacks with our reservation. The daypacks were not large, but they said I couldn't leave them both unless I made a new reservation, which was difficult. Since our two daypacks were much smaller than one suitcase (which we could have checked for the same price) I think they should have let us check the two daypacks; we would have gladly paid the additional fee out of pocket.

This was my first time using Bounce and it worked seamlessly. I had no problems at all dropping my bag off at NYC Racquet Sports and it was just as easy picking it up. This location is a couple blocks from Penn Station, so it was perfect for exploring Manhattan for several hours before catching the train to Newark Airport for a late night flight. Will definitely use Bounce on future trips!

very smooth experience, they attached tags on our bags and gave us pickup codes. They also made sure to scan our qr code on checkin and pickup, which was important to me security wise. One nit: I’d have felt more comfortable if they put our bags in their back room right away. It seems they first let them stand around in the store for a bit upon us checking in, and only moved them into their room later.

Easy drop off and pick up. For some reason, the attendant at the front desk did not want to throw a small beverage bottle away for me (pretended not have a trash can until I pointed it out and she did help me throw it away after). Everything else was perfect. Just want to give a heads up, this location is used as a temporary housing for migrants so you may see additional security for this reason.

We booked this the night before but when we walked in and told then how many bags they were trying to give us a quote, way higher than what I actually paid. I had to show them the reservation. They took the bags into a back room and we were nervous, since we had 8 total. When we returned, they were all there and labels with a sticker with my name on it. It all worked out in the end. It was super convenient to be able to pick up and head straight to the pier for the ferry to NJ. Bonus was the bathrooms were gorgeous and super clean!!

The staff was very friendly and patient. I had to take something out and put stuff in my bag and he was waiting for me to finish and even gave me a bag to put my sweaty cardigan in. The luggage was kept in a separate room, and the staff brings your bag out for you do not everyone can just go and grab your stuff. Would definitely be booking with then again🙌

The staff at this location is superb; they are very kind and professional. I bounced here for two days, while I did photography and videography work at a nearby event, I left a tripod in one of my bags, and needed to get it out earlier than my scheduled pick up, and I was helped seamlessly without any backbiting, I was spoken to kindly and with respect, I sometimes deal with racism, when I go into high-end establishments because I'm young and African American, ( people can see me as a problem before I'm even able to open my mouth) at this location I only received kindness and respect in return for the same, I appreciate the staff's effort to honor character over anything else. The best experience indeed!!! ;)
