  • Excellent and Hassle-Free Luggage Storage Service! Bounce was a great and convenient option for storing our luggage while travelling. My wife and I were initially worried about travelling from New York to Chicago with our two large suitcases weighing 23 kg each, especially because of the expensive airline baggage fees. Fortunately, we found Bounce, which allowed us to safely store our luggage in New York while we travelled to Chicago for two days. When we returned, we collected our luggage without any hassle. It was such an easy and convenient experience, allowing us to travel freely without carrying heavy bags. Thank you, Bounce, for providing such a useful and hassle-free service. Highly recommended for travellers!

  • Location near Penn Station was great. Drop off was smooth, store person used the app to verify my booking, took photo of my bag and opened the locked room for storage. All the same at the end in reverse. Very smooth. There is no signage on the business to indicate this is a drop off location which may be by design. Now I know how it works.

  • Location was really close to Penn station, very convenient. Bag drop was easy and efficient, he scanned the QR code and they take a pic of bag. I was leaving it for 3 days and on my return I dropped off another bag so I could enjoy last few hours in NYC. Collected both bags fast and efficiently. Very happy with the service.

Bag storage near the Empire State Building observation deck

Recommended for: observation deck tourists, international travelers on their last day in nyc, shoppers visiting herald square.

The Empire State Building does not have lockers or any bag storage on site. Visitors with suitcases, large backpacks, or rolling bags will be turned away at security. That means planning ahead is essential, especially after a hotel checkout or arriving straight from Penn Station. The 30th Street location offers a practical solution. It's open 24 hours every day, has earned a 4.9 rating from over 2,500 reviews, and sits just a few blocks south of the building's entrance on Fifth Avenue. Drop off luggage, walk north, and the whole observation deck experience becomes much simpler. Bounce locations around the Empire State Building area have handled thousands of bags for travelers in exactly this situation. Prices start from $3.25, and each booking includes $10,000 protection.

Left luggage options for visitors arriving from Penn Station

Recommended for: penn station rail travelers, business travelers with meetings in midtown.

Travelers coming into Midtown on Amtrak, NJ Transit, or the LIRR often search for luggage lockers at Penn Station. Those lockers don't exist anymore. The station removed them years ago, and Moynihan Train Hall doesn't have them either. That leaves rail travelers needing somewhere to leave bags before heading to the Empire State Building or Madison Square Garden. The Empire State Building 31st Street location works well for this. It's a short walk from Penn, rated 4.7 with over 200 reviews, and sits right in the corridor between the station and the observation deck. With over 2,800 reviews across all Bounce locations near the Empire State Building, travelers have consistently found reliable bag storage in the neighborhood. A quick drop off, then a straight walk east to Fifth Avenue.

Storing luggage in Murray Hill before sightseeing

Recommended for: business travelers, international visitors, couples exploring midtown.

Murray Hill sits just east of the Empire State Building, full of hotels and restaurants but not many obvious places to leave a suitcase. For travelers checking out of a boutique hotel in the neighborhood or finishing brunch before an afternoon at the observation deck, the Murray Hill storage location offers a quieter alternative to the busier spots near Penn Station. It's a neighborhood where people actually live, so the pace feels different. Bounce operates 3 storage locations near the Empire State Building, giving visitors flexibility depending on which direction they're coming from or heading next. The Murray Hill spot works especially well for anyone planning to walk through Koreatown on 32nd Street or grab lunch before heading to the building. The whole point is to move through Midtown without dragging bags across every crosswalk. The app rating sits at 4.9, reflecting what 2,000,000 customers worldwide have experienced.
