Yes, but they're not always the best option. Luggage lockers can fill up quickly and may be unavailable when you need them. Some luggage lockers may be too small to fit large or bulky items. Unlike luggage lockers, we don't charge per hour and instead charge a flat rate for 24 hours of storage. We also have partners who watch over your stuff to make sure it's safe, and can answer any questions you may have or give you advice on what to do in Minglanilla.
We only partner with trusted businesses who have a dedicated, secure place to keep your luggage safe. Some businesses may store luggage behind a counter that's off-limits to customers, while others may have storage rooms or closets for your luggage. But no matter where you choose to leave your luggage, our partners will keep it safe.
Yes, but many companies charge per hour and costs can add up fast. We charge one price for 24 hours of storage, so storing your stuff is more affordable in Minglanilla.

Cebu is one of the corners of the Philippines that very few international travelers ever reach. Only the most steadfast globetrotters or Philippines completists who want to explore every inch of the country have discovered the lush jungles and historic coastal towns. In all likelihood, visiting the area involves a visit to the bustling Cebu City or holding up in a resort along with a beach nearby. There’s also the lovely town of Minglanilla, situated just west of Cebu City.Â
Surrounded by dense jungle and rolling hills to the north, this unassuming town has access to outdoor destinations like Mangrove Eco Park and the Jumalon Butterfly Sanctuary, along with the colonial history of Cebu City and its wonderful Fort San Pedro. Depending on your aims, you can take a deep dive uncovering the colonial past in Cebu, or spend your time exploring the surrounding landscapes, birdwatching, boating, and hiking through some of the most intense terrain you’ll find anywhere.
In town, you’ll also have plenty of culture to enjoy. Filipino food is legit, though unfortunately overlooked in many countries. With hearty staples like lechon and fresh seafood at your disposal, both Minglanilla and Cebu City’s restaurants will keep you busy (and fed) during your trip. While it pales in comparison with Metro Manila, the shopping in Cebu City and Minglanilla is perfectly serviceable for your trip.Â
If you’re planning a trip to Manglanilla, you’ll want to plan for some logistics between the town and Cebu City, and that might include finding a place to store your bags. Here’s everything you need to know:Â
You'll find that the town's hotels are extremely accommodating. Plenty of Minglanilla’s most popular hotels offer useful amenities like concierge services or free self-parking along with luxuries like a private beach, rooftop terrace, or an outdoor pool. Most hotels in Minglanilla will take your bags before check-in or after check-out time, so that'll help guests who want to hit the swimming pool as soon as they reach Minglanilla. For example, Tubod Flowing Waters Resort is happy to take the bags for a few hours while you head out sightseeing.Â
Outside of the hotel, you might find that you're short of options when it comes to finding a place to store the bags. There aren't really any train stations or public infrastructure where you'll usually expect to find lockers. The easiest and most convenient options for luggage storage Minglanilla has are available through Bounce. With locations throughout the Philippines, including convenient ones in Minglanilla, you can use the Bounce mobile app to find the nearest storage spot and even book online.Â
One of the largest theme parks in the Philippines might seem out of place in a small city like Minglanilla, but it’s really part of the larger entertainment landscape of Cebu City. This expansive theme park has rides and attractions for young children and even teenagers. If you’re traveling with the family to Minglanilla, this is a nice one to have in your back pocket to keep the kids engaged.Â
One of Cebu City’s top colonial landmarks, this fortress was built in the 16th century by Miguel López de Legazpi, who conquered the Philippines to expand the Spanish Empire into Asia. Its location near the water protected the colonial holdings of Spain in Cebu, and its formidable defenses can still be visited today. Although the fortress is partially ruined, you can tour the battlements and interior that function as a museum. There’s also a garden tucked away between the ramparts.Â
Situated on the outskirts of Cebu City towards Minglanilla, this beguiling sanctuary features dozens of colorful butterfly species native to the island. You can tour the sanctuary and learn about the fascinating differences in each species along with information about the lifespan of these creatures.Â
While you certainly can't expect to find any designer brands or luxury goods at this scrappy but charming market, it's a fun place to grab some Filipino street food or even some fresh produce for a picnic. Â
This tiny mall right in town offers a few dozen Filipino chains and boutiques worth shopping through, especially if you get caught on a rainy day.Â
One of the top attractions in Cebu City, this boisterous market offers the quintessential Filipino shopping experience. With aisles of street food, produce, and artisanal products, you can put together a nice picnic or grab a snack. The best part of Carbon Market has to be the number of craftsmen that sell traditionally made folk products like pottery, ceramics, textiles, and especially the traditional basketry that makes for wonderful souvenirs and gifts. The Carbon Market is pretty huge, so you’ll want to set aside at least an hour or two to explore the whole place.Â
Easily the most popular restaurant in Minglanilla is this teahouse serving authentic Filipino milk tea, which is flavored with everything from watermelon to chocolate. This is essentially the boba tea for the Philippines and is a vital part of the culinary experience. you'll probably want to stop there multiple times to try a few different flavors.
One of the highest-rated restaurants in Cebu City is situated in the bustling Ayala Center and there's a place to sample upscale takes on traditional Filipino classics like crispy pata (pork leg) and seafood kare-kare soup. The food is incredible, but the patio overlooking the center of town might be the real reason it’s so popular.
There's no getting around this staple. Lechón, or roast suckling pig, is the quintessential Filipino dish. Traveling here and missing out on this delightful staple would be a true shame, especially if you're in the vicinity of Rico’s, which roasts the finest pig in all of Cebu. If you dare, opt for the spicy option.Â
