Festival du Livre 2025

Honor literature in every shape beneath the stunning glass ceiling of the Grand Palais!

Le Festival du Livre de Paris, formerly Le Salon du Livre de Paris, is a prominent literary event celebrating French and international literature. The 2025 edition will be held from April 11 to 13 at the Grand Palais.

In 1981, the Syndicat National de l'Édition established the Salon du Livre de Paris. Initially held at the Grand Palais, this event has become a staple in the literary community. In the 1990s, it moved to the Porte de Versailles and, in 2022, returned to its original venue.

The Grand Palais is a perfect book festival location because it embodies French literature's grandeur and cultural richness. With its massive glass dome and elegant Beaux-Arts architecture, it offers an inspiring atmosphere for discussing literature, creativity, and storytelling.
