The coin lockers inside the station fill up quickly, and I didn't want to have to search around for one, so I searched online and found this service. My business wasn't at Kyoto Station, but at Shijo, so I took a private railway from Osaka to Gojo and was able to leave my luggage right away.

Amazing experience! Dropped off the bags smoothly; the place looked secure and had a cozy atmosphere. Though it was only one person there, the staff was super friendly. He didn't speak English, however we got on just fine with google translate haha! He also gave us a traditional good luck send off based around sparking stones before we headed off. Will definitely be back here to eat instead of just dropping off bags. Place looks incredible!!!

I'm Japanese. I was having trouble finding a place to leave my luggage at the coin lockers at Kyoto Station, but then I learned that a hair salon offered luggage storage, and I used their service for half a day. The map was in English, and I was a little hesitant about making a reservation online, so I went directly to the salon, and luckily they had a locker available, so I was able to leave my luggage. I think it was around 1600 yen for two bags. They were very kind. If you can't find a place to leave your luggage in Kyoto, I highly recommend this! I would like to use their service again.

Great experience! Tam Tam is labeled clearly on the outside so it’s easy to find. Elevator available to take you up to 2F. The woman in charge was super nice. And it’s a literal stone’s throw from Kyoto Station. What more could you want?
