Discover Karasuma Oike Station luggage storage

Great experience

Overall, it was a good experience. A busy place for sure. Run competently, it seems to me. Oddly, when I arrived, my Bounce QR code didn't seem to work for the gentleman helping me. He asked me to pay 2000 yen, which I had already paid. You don't get a QR code without paying, right? We were stuck there for a moment. I wondered, after lugging my bags all the way there, where else I could try. Not a happy thought. I tried again and showed him the confirmation code I had received and he then decided it was ok with him and he kept my bags for the day without charging me again. I rushed to my appointment at Kyoto University. So that was not a nice glitch but I am glad it worked out. I arrived in the morning and returned in the afternoon. The pickup was easy and friendly. They didn't speak English I only have a few words in Japanese so we used translation apps. Not fast, of course. But it worked. Am not sure why the Bounce QR I had didn't work on the Bounce machine at this location. Seems a glitch. Otherwise a good experience.

Easy to use, we just turned up and were able to leave our luggage with the store straightaway. We were travelling for a week, so a longer stay than most people, but this was not a problem. Picked it up in same way, with no problems. Would highly recommend. Plus they hire out bikes!

Dropped off ans picked up in the same day. It was simple and the staff were great.

Communication was friendly and efficient. In English or Japanese if desired. Easy to drop off and pick up my luggage.

A very friendly and helpful employee took my bag immediately. I would definitely drop it off here again!

Flawless English, helpful and friendly
