  • This was a hidden gem of a shop I stumbled upon on my first trip to Kyoto. I originally just wanted to borrow it to store my luggage and find shelter from the rain. The owners, a husband and wife, spoke excellent English and were very friendly. They explained how to use matcha in great detail. I hope I'll have the chance to come back again!

  • Very nice place and very well located (be careful with Google Maps, it shows the location on the back street). The owners were very kind, polite, and attentive. We had no problems or getting lost. They were clear with the information and even recommended things to do. I loved the place!

Lockers at Keihan Fushimi Inari Station and what to do when they fill up

Recommended for: international tourists, day trippers from osaka, domestic weekend visitors.

Keihan Fushimi Inari Station has coin lockers in two spots: on the platform heading toward Demachiyanagi and outside the ticket gate on the opposite side. The station offers around 60 lockers total, with sizes ranging from small to extra large. IC cards work at some but not all of them. The thing is, they fill up fast, especially on weekends and holidays. By midmorning, good luck finding an empty one. When that happens, there are bag storage options within walking distance. The Bounce location Near Keihan Fushimi Inari Station is rated 5.0 and stays open on Sundays. It's just a few minutes from the exit, so you won't lose much time. Bounce has 8 total storage spots around the Fushimi Inari Station area, and each booking includes ¥1,000,000 protection. A quick drop before heading up the torii path makes the whole visit easier.

Bag storage near Fushimi Inari Taisha for visitors with large suitcases

Recommended for: hotel switchers, tour groups, travelers with oversized luggage.

Coin lockers at the stations near Fushimi Inari Taisha don't always fit big suitcases. The largest lockers can handle carry on size, but anything bigger becomes a problem. That's where staffed bag storage helps. The Bounce location Near Fushimi Inari Shrine is open early and closes late, which works well for travelers switching hotels or arriving on early trains. No size restrictions, so even bulky items are fine. Prices start from ¥500. The shrine approach itself gets crowded, and dragging a rolling suitcase through the torii gates isn't really practical. Dropping bags before the walk up makes sense. With over 250 reviews across all Bounce locations in this area, travelers have come to rely on these spots. The shrine entrance is about a 12 minute walk from most storage points, so timing works out for a full morning visit.

Left luggage options for Fushimi Inari day trips between cities

Recommended for: travelers on tokyo to osaka routes, photographers doing the full trail, visitors with afternoon check ins.

Fushimi Inari sits right on the Keihan line between Kyoto and Osaka, making it a popular stop for travelers moving between cities. The challenge? Suitcases. JR Inari Station is small and has limited locker space, maybe 30 units at most. Keihan Fushimi Inari has more, but they still go quickly. For those who need guaranteed storage, booking ahead solves the problem. The Fushimi Ward Bounce location has a 4.9 rating with over 240 reviews. Open on Sundays too. The full torii trail takes two to three hours, and nobody wants to haul a backpack or suitcase up Mount Inari. Storing bags near the station means you can take your time, grab some kitsune udon after, and pick everything up before catching the next train out.
