  • It was quick and easy. Booked online, 5 minutes later dropped the bags off. We were late picking them up, but it was no issue. Easy to find at Piccadilly. Totally convenient for a baggage free day in London.

  • I visited to drop off my luggage as I had a schedule at the National Gallery after checking out. They even let me take a photo of my suitcase (self-service) and gave me a receipt; they handled everything meticulously. It was also great that there was a supermarket on-site, so I could buy things I needed.

  • Unfortunately, the gentleman in the morning was very uncommunicative, but at the pickup, the gentlemen were extremely nice and smiling. No codes were scanned; I only took photos of my luggage and showed them at pickup. No confirmation, but fortunately, the luggage was returned to us intact. Very fast service.

Bag storage near Leicester Square for West End theatre nights

Recommended for: theatre and show attendees, west end tourists, rail and tube connectors.

So you've got tickets to a show on Shaftesbury Avenue and a suitcase you'd rather not lug into the theatre. Yeah, that's a common problem around here. Most West End venues won't let you bring large bags inside anyway, and even if they did, squeezing past rows of seats with a roller bag is nobody's idea of fun. The Covent Garden London Bounce location sits about a five-minute walk from Leicester Square station, right in that sweet spot between the theatres and the restaurants. It's open 24/7, which matters when your show finishes late and you still need to grab dinner in Chinatown afterwards. Over 600 reviews from travelers who've used this spot, and they've handled more than 6,900 bags here. Pricing starts from £1.95, and you can book ahead on your phone while you're still on the Tube. Drop your stuff, catch the show, pick up afterwards. Simple as that. The walk from the storage point to most Shaftesbury Avenue theatres takes maybe seven or eight minutes through the pedestrianized bits of the square.

Left luggage options when checking out of Covent Garden hotels

Recommended for: hotel checkout visitors, shoppers, tourists visiting from other london areas.

Check out at 11 am, flight at 9 pm. That's eight hours of wandering around with your bags unless you sort something out. We see it all the time around here, people dragging cases through Seven Dials trying to enjoy their last day. Bounce has a spot near Covent Garden that works perfectly for this. The location is highly rated and stays open on Sundays, so even weekend checkouts are covered. You can walk there from most Soho and Covent Garden hotels in under ten minutes. Once your bags are stored, you've got the whole West End open to you. Pop into the market at Covent Garden, grab lunch somewhere in Neal's Yard, maybe catch a matinee. The storage location has safely handled thousands of bags for people doing exactly this kind of last-day loop. Each booking includes £10,000 protection, so your stuff is covered while you're out enjoying the city. Leicester Square itself is just a five-minute walk away if you want to see the film character statues or grab discount theatre tickets at the TKTS booth.

Luggage lockers near Leicester Square station for day trippers

Recommended for: rail and tube connectors, event attendees, west end tourists.

Arriving at Leicester Square station with bags? The station itself doesn't have luggage lockers. Hasn't for years now. But there are storage options nearby if you know where to look. Bounce operates locations around the Leicester Square area, and the Covent Garden London spot is one of the closest to the station exits. About four or five minutes on foot. The place has a rating above 4.7 from hundreds of reviews, which tells you people generally have a smooth experience. This works well if you're coming in from Charing Cross on National Rail and want to explore the West End without your bags. Or if you're here for a premiere at one of the big cinemas and need to pass through security easily. The square hosts film events throughout the year at the Odeon and Empire, and large bags will slow you down or get turned away. Bounce has served over 2,000,000 customers globally, and the app rating sits at 4.9. You book through your phone, show up, hand over your bag, and get on with your day. Pickup is flexible depending on the location's hours.
