About Sunshine City

A vast metropolis like Tokyo isn't short on monstrous buildings, and luckily not all of them are solely dedicated to corporate offices. Some of the city’s top attractions are centrally located in Ikebukuro, and they’re all tightly crammed into one complex - Sunshine City. This is a massive building boasting four towers and dozens of attractions, restaurants, and other assets worth checking out.

There's the luxurious Prince Hotel, shopping at World Import Mart, and hundreds of other retail offerings. The entertainment options are seemingly endless, like the Sunshine Aquarium and Sunshine 60 Observation Deck.

The dining options are far from the definitive culinary experience, but they’re perfectly serviceable and great for fueling a shopping spree. There’s an amusement park run by the famous Namco toy company. You can have a constructive outing, as well. The Ancient Orient Museum provides a wonderful snapshot of early Japanese history, and there’s also an aquarium and a planetarium.

You may want to plan your trip around Sunshine City, as there are local hotels nearby or even one located inside the complex. Regardless of how you plan on visiting, you can utilize convenient Sunshine City luggage storage locations offered by Bounce.
