Why use Soho luggage storage?

The Soho district of Central London has been a huge part of the British capital’s appeal for decades now. Soho Square and the surrounding areas are go-to destinations for both locals and travelers looking for a quintessential London experience. Essentially all of London's most appealing attributes are on offer in Soho.

The shopping is unsurprisingly solid, with a nice mix of trendy, boutiques and vintage stores alongside major international brands. Hotspots like Regent Street are hard to avoid if you need some retail therapy. Bucket list venues like Prince Edward Theatre are a major draw for West End fans looking for an elegant place to enjoy a show.

From a nightlife perspective, it doesn't get any better than Soho, and it's been that case since the 60s when the British capital was the undisputed pinnacle of cool. You'll find a wide variety of bars and nightclubs, from modern cocktail lounges to some of the most beloved hangouts for the local LGBTQ+ community.

If you're staying in Soho or just poking around, you'll want to be able to get around quickly. Carrying your bags will only slow down, so finding a place to store them is advisable for soaking in Soho on a travel day. The Bounce luggage storage service is by far the best option, with nearby locations providing a secure place to store whatever you need while you enjoy Soho.

Getting around Soho

Soho is in the middle of absolutely everything, with surrounding areas like Tottenham Court Road and Covent Garden being within walking distance. You can even get to the British Museum or the London Eye quickly. The area is served by multiple Tube stations along with Charing Cross for long-distance connections. The neighborhood itself is incredibly walkable, especially along Regent Street, so that's where finding luggage storage in Soho can really come in handy.

Soho by train

Charing Cross is the closest mainline train station to Soho and Kings Cross Station is only 10 minutes away. London Paddington is a five-minute Tube ride via the Elizabeth Line. These connections make it easy to reach Soho from cities across the UK and Europe, which is why storing luggage is so popular for travelers exploring the area.

Taking the Tube around Soho

Soho is well served by multiple stations on the London Underground, with easy connections through different lines.

  • Piccadilly Circus: Kings Cross Station (10 minutes), Emirates Stadium (20 minutes), Russell Square (7 minutes), London Paddington (19 minutes via Bakerloo Line)
  • Tottenham Court Road Station: London Paddington (7 minutes via Elizabeth Line), St. Paul’s Cathedral (8 minutes via Central Line)
  • Oxford Circus Station: Kings Cross Station (10 minutes), London Eye (10 minutes via Bakerloo Line), Buckingham Palace (15 minutes via Victoria Line)

Bus services in Soho

While there are dozens of bus routes serving Soho’s Oxford Street, Shaftesbury Avenue, Charing Cross Road, and Regent Street, these rarely factor into the logistics for international travelers and tourists. For inter-neighborhood trips, the Tube is a much better option.

Getting to Soho from the airport

Heathrow Airport is only 40 minutes away from Tottenham Court Road Station via the Elizabeth Line. Gatwick Airport is equally close. You can take either the Gatwick Express or the Southern Train to Victoria Station before transferring to the Victoria Line to reach Oxford Circus.
