The event is divided into four Melbourne Cup Carnival days. The first one is reserved for the Penfolds Victoria Derby Day, with the Group 1 race and a magnificent display of chic fashion trends. Men and women will present their unique style through their most extravagant clothing!

The main event, Lexus Melbourne Cup Day, takes place on the first Tuesday in November. This popular race is nicknamed The Race that Stops the Nation because many facilities in Melbourne are closed amidst its duration. One million people worldwide watch this spectacle! The course is the same as the one set up for the inaugural race, and the prize money for the winner is huge—8.4 million Australian dollars!

A true fashion extravaganza and three-year-old fillies race await you on the third day, called the VRC Oaks Day. The Oaks Day brings one of the most exciting events - the Fashions on the Field. During the Fashions on the Fields, women show off their most elegant clothes, often dressed in expensive outfits, wearing colorful and floral details and unique hats! It's one ladies' day that celebrates women and brings the prize for the Myer Fashions on the Field competition. The total prize pool is $370,000!

There will be three races on the final day, the Champions Stakes Day. On this day, which marks the end of the Melbourne Cup Carnival, the atmosphere is more relaxed, but still with many ways to entertain yourself. This day also offers three races - the Champions Stakes, the Champions Sprint, and the Champions Mile.

The days will be pleasant and dry, with temperatures ranging from 14°C to 23°C (57°F to 73°F). Dress comfortably or classy if you wish, but bring an umbrella since it may rain!
