The art deco building opened in 1931 and was known as the Gray Coach Terminal at the time, owned by the Toronto Transit Commission. It is listed on the City of Toronto’s heritage buildings register as a historic building. Although the building was partially rebuilt in 1984, the original structure still stands, and you can see the stunning architectural decorations around the building. The skylights, chandeliers, and regal staircase remain in place as well.
