About Eaton Centre

Toronto Eaton Centre is a large shopping mall with more than 250 stores and restaurants. Owned by Cadillac Fairview, the center is also known as CF Eaton Centre. But the name Eaton was actually for the Eaton’s Department Store chain, the main store before it went out of business. The Toronto Eaton Centre has almost 49 million visitors every year and is busier than any other mall in North America.

Located on Yonge Street, the shopping mall is a major tourist attraction in Toronto and is also a popular hangout for many locals. With over 2.1 million square feet of space, there is so much to do and see here, you could spend days in the mall without getting bored. And if you get hungry, you do not have to go far. There are seven dine-in restaurants and more than three dozen other eateries in two large food courts. They include all sorts of choices from McDonald’s to Ruby Thai Kitchen and Shanghai 360.

And if you break a heel or have another problem with your shoes, head over to the cobblers, Moneysworth & Best. They will also clean and buff your shoes, fit you with insoles for better comfort, and they even have gifts and souvenirs you can buy while you are there.

Fun Fact: The Eaton Centre has almost a million visitors a week, and because of their popularity, they are open every day, including holidays.
