• Where can I leave my luggage in Rome?

• How much does luggage storage cost in Rome?

  From €3.25 per bag per day. Price depends on bag size, and there is no extra charge for oversized bags beyond the oversized rate. Online booking is cheaper than walk-in, and the total, including the service fee, is shown before you pay.

• Will a hotel hold my bags if I'm not staying there?

  Usually not. Most Rome hotels only hold luggage for guests, and the few that make an exception tend to charge. Even guests are often limited to before check-in and after checkout. Bounce works whether or not you have a room, and there is no check-in-time limit.

• What can I do with my bags between checkout and my train or flight?

  Book a Bounce spot near where you’ll be, drop the bags, and pick them up on your way out. Many travelers do this for Rome-to-Florence-style day trips and late departures. Because you book a specific store, you can choose one near your hotel, the sights, or the station.

• Is luggage storage in Rome safe?

  Yes. Every Bounce partner is vetted, only the store’s staff handle your bags, and each reservation is protected up to €10,000. A common tip is to avoid informal “we’ll watch your bag” shops with no booking or receipt. Bounce gives you a reservation with a record and support if anything goes wrong.

• How long can I store my luggage in Rome?

  As long as you need. Rates are per day, so a 7–10 day side trip costs the daily rate for each day. Choose your drop-off and pick-up dates when you book, and extend in the app if your plans change.

• What are the opening hours, and are there 24h spots?

  Hours depend on the store. Many Rome partners are open from the morning to late evening, and the app shows each store’s exact hours and any 24h options. Check the pick-up time before you book, especially for a late flight. If you’re late, the store’s late pick-up fee applies.

• What size and how many bags can I store?

  Backpacks, carry-ons, large suitcases, strollers and oversized items are all accepted. You can store multiple bags in one booking. Add each bag when you book so the price and protection are correct.

• Do I need to book ahead in Rome?

  Not required, but it’s cheaper and guarantees space. Reserve in the app or on the website, show the QR code at the store, and you’re done. If you walk in, it costs more and a store may be full.

• Can I change or cancel a booking?

  Yes. You can change times or cancel in the app, and bookings can be canceled free of charge up to the start time. Same day bookings work too if a store has space.
