We were told no reservation needed in Rome (by the establishment) but we did make one in Florence and I am glad we did. The drop off/pick up was seamless. (we paid at the location in Rome upon pick up and through the app for Florence where our reservation was known upon arrival to the establishment) Good for the establishments also as purchases were made at each location! Traveling from the US and staying in VRBO's plus not speaking Italian made this process a little nerve wracking at the very beginning but proved to be a great experience in both locations.
