  • We had a great experience. The place is easy to find, storage seemed seccure, and they had many employees so it is quick to leave the bags and then collect them, even during busy hours (we went around the time everybody checks-out from hotels and the queue moved fast). I recommend booking the service before leaving the bags if you want to be really quick.

  • Easy to book (online - very last minute) and easy to find. Drop off was simple. Had to queue a bit longer than expected to pick up (because the wifey in front was incompetent, and how can anybody need that much luggage?!). Didn't realise I had to do something to confirm that I'd picked up my bag, so I was still getting reminders the next morning - highlighting the risk of extra charges)

  • Easy to find from station. A few stairs at entry to building, but a lift to the 2nd floor. Did the booking online, left two bags, and coming back 45mins earlier than booked not an issue. Recommend service.

  • Fairly simple to use, and reasonably close location to the station. The storage is on the third floor, but there is a small lift (after the half-storey staircase to enter). We had two hold luggages, two large cabin bags and three backpacks, so we had to do two trips in the lift.

Luggage storage for conferences at Fortezza da Basso

Recommended for: business travelers, digital nomads.

If you're in Florence for Pitti Uomo or one of the medical congresses at Fortezza da Basso, here's a local tip. The fortress is literally a five minute walk from Santa Maria Novella station, but lugging your laptop bag and carry on through exhibition halls gets old fast. There are several Bounce locations nearby, including District 1 Florence which stays open early and late with a solid 4.75 rating from 400+ reviews. Another option is Via Palazzuolo, a highly rated spot (4.88 stars) on a street that runs parallel to the main station area. Storing bags before exploring Florence's historic center

Recommended for: tourists, event attendees, locals.

The historic center of Florence, from Piazza della Signoria to the Uffizi, wasn't built for wheeled suitcases. Cobblestones, crowds, museum lines. You know how it goes. That's why so many visitors use bag storage near Santa Maria Novella before heading into the old city. Bounce locations in this area have safely handled over 66,000 bags total. One good pick is Firenze, which has stored nearly 4,000 bags and has 220+ reviews. It's open on Sundays too, which helps if you're doing a weekend trip. The app is rated 4.9, so booking takes about a minute. Whether you're catching a concert at one of the nearby venues or just want to grab a lampredotto sandwich without your backpack, having free hands changes everything. Trust us on that one.
