Cowboy Christmas in Las Vegas is a festive and highly anticipated annual event held in conjunction with the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR). The event takes place in early December and serves as a massive shopping and entertainment experience that attracts rodeo fans, Western lifestyle enthusiasts, and holiday shoppers. It's the only official gift show of the Wrangler NFR, so it's free to attend!

This tradition dates back to 1986. At the event, you can see a lot of going on. For example, the YETI Junior World Finals hosts young contestants competing in events that mirror those seen in professional rodeo competitions.

The event, which will take place in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center from December 5 to December 14, is scheduled to be free and open to the public.

What to Expect When Attending Cowboy Christmas 2024

Over 350 vendors will present a wide range of Western-themed products, including cowboy boots, hats, apparel, furniture, custom-made jewelry, home goods, and original art. You'll be able to shop handmade crafts and gifts that reflect the Western lifestyle.

Exciting things to try, like dummy roping, livestock shows, and other rodeo-related activities for all ages, will add to the overall experience. Interactive experiences also include the Ariat Rodeo Live Stage, where you can enjoy live music performances, typically country music, and interviews with rodeo athletes! You can ask them about the rodeo, their experiences, or anything that interests you! After that, you can ask for an autograph at the autograph sessions!

Cowboy Christmas 2024 Bag Policy

Clear bags that don't exceed the size 12'' x 6'' x 12'' are allowed. You can also enter with a small purse no larger than 8'' x 11''.

The Cowboy Christmas event doesn't provide an area to store your luggage, although you can leave your bags at the bag check at the entrance of NFR for $20.
