The Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Classic is set to return to Fort Worth for the biggest fishing event of the year!

The Bassmaster Classic Expo 2025 will be held in Fort Worth, Texas, as part of the larger Bassmaster Classic event, often referred to as the Super Bowl of Bass Fishing.

In 1971, Ray Scott, the visionary behind the Bass Anglers Sportsman Society, founded the Bassmaster Classic. The event grew, and by the 1980s, it had become a televised spectacle! The Expo component of the Classic began as a way for fans to connect with the industry. Over time, it evolved into a massive trade show, and by the 2000s, it had become integral to the event.

Cities across the United States now compete to host the event. Fort Worth and Lake Ray Roberts hosted it in 2021. That year, Hank Cherry became the fourth angler to win the event in back-to-back years! Jason Sands, executive director of the Fort Worth Sports Commission, was extremely excited to announce that the 2025 Bassmaster Classic will return to the fantastic venue where it is traditionally held.

The exciting Classics tournament will take place on Lake Ray Roberts near Denton, Texas, and at Dickies Arena. The Bassmaster Classic Outdoors Expo awaits you at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

What to Expect When Attending Bassmaster Classic Expo 2025

The Bassmaster Classic, presented by Under Armour, is a completely free event and welcomes everyone, no matter their age!

More than 200 exhibitors at the Expo will offer attendees deals on the latest fishing tackle and outdoor accessories. Additionally, stop by for prizes, giveaways, and fun activities suitable for the entire family! Leading brands in the fishing industry will have booths where you can explore new products, ask questions, and even test some equipment.

Security Protocols

Your bags will be checked at entry points, and metal detectors will screen them. Security personnel are stationed throughout the venue to monitor crowd movement, particularly during the weigh-ins and Expo. If you're traveling with your luggage, leave it somewhere for an enjoyable experience, and avoid going too near the lake. It's reserved for boats and anglers!

To reach the Bassmaster Classic, you can go by car or use public transport:

• Car: The Convention Center is centrally located in downtown Fort Worth. If driving from I-35W, take exit 51A and follow the signs to the center. Parking is available, though it can fill up during major events like this one! The Dickies Arena's address is 1911 Montgomery St, Fort Worth, TX. If driving, take I-30 West and follow signs that will lead to it.
• Public transport: The Trinity Railway Express (TRE) stops at Fort Worth Station, a short walk from the venues. Bus services also run throughout the city, and several routes pass near the venues. Check out the TRE website to find the best route.
