Fort Worth Stock Show 2025

Get ready for something spectacular in Fort Worth! Gather your family and friends for a rodeo spectacle!

Founded in 1896 as a "Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show," this event aimed to present the growing importance of the livestock industry in Fort Worth, Texas.

Initially, it was held on the banks of Marine Creek, when it moved to the Cowtown Coliseum in the Fort Worth Stockyards in 1918 and later to the Will Rogers Memorial Center in 1944. Today, this show takes place at Dickies Arena, by the name Fort Worth Stock Show Rodeo (FWSSR).

Initially held on the banks of Marine Creek, the event moved to the Cowtown Coliseum in the Fort Worth Stockyards in 1918, and then to the Will Rogers Memorial Center in 1944. Today, the show, known as the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo (FWSSR), takes place at Dickies Arena.

A bit of trivia: In 2023, the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo set an attendance record with 1.27 million visitors. That same year, a new auction record was also set when a 15-year-old student from Canyon, Texas, sold a 1,343-pound black European Cross named 'Snoop Dog' for $440,000!

Join us at this event from Friday, January 17 to Saturday, February 8!
