Additional Dickies Arena Policies and Information

There are some additional policies in effect at the arena, which apply to all types of events taking place. Here are the ones you'll need to know about.

How to Get to the Arena

If you're planning your route to the event and have never been to Fort Worth, or even Texas for that matter, it can be pretty intimidating. The good news is that you can easily get to the arena with your rental car, and all Yellow Lots in the city are open on event days.

With that said, access to the lots depends on availability and spots do fill up fast. It's recommended you purchase a pre-paid parking pass. The final tip for guests is to allow extra time to get parking and to walk up to the gates into the stadium. The parking lots are quite large and busy during events.

For those who don't want to have to rent a car, you can always use a rideshare. There is a drop-off location on the grounds, so you don't have to worry about walking far.

Unfortunately, there are no public transit options offered here. Bigger cities like Dallas, Texas, have public transit, so you'll be able to use it there if you're exploring.

Dickies Arena Outside Food and Drink Policy

There is also a policy for outside food and drink, including alcoholic drinks. While it may be tempting to bring a snack or drink with you, they are prohibited items. Containers meant to carry a drink, such as cans, coolers, bottles, glass containers, and thermoses are also prohibited.

There is an exception for plastic baby bottles with formula. If you have any medical needs that require special outside food, you can call ahead to ask about exceptions.

Dickies Arena camera policy

Hoping to take some pictures while enjoying the stock show, rodeo, concert, or any other type of show? Good news for guests, you are allowed to bring in still, non-flash cameras. It needs to have a lens smaller than 4" to be allowed inside.

All professional photography equipment is prohibited. These would include items like video recording and audio recording devices, monopods, selfie sticks, tripods, interchangeable lenses, and GoPro cameras. All flash photography is also banned.

Entry, Re-Entry, and Seating

Once you enter the arena you won't be allowed to leave the venue and come back inside. Be sure to also look at your tickets, as that is your assigned seat and that's the only one you can be in. In terms of what time you can enter the arena, it varies by event so be sure to look at your tickets. You can also contact guest services to ask about gate opening times.

Animals

Animals aren't allowed inside the arena unless they are trained service animals that are needed to assist a guest.

Simmons Bank Plaza

This innovative plaza is to the south and east side of the arena. It's an outdoor venue that can host festivals and more on non-event days. What's convenient is that the plaza is connected to the Chevrolet Garage.
