  • worked very well - polite staff - very easy to find and prize is very reasonable. They have a back room where only staff members go and you get a reciept for all the bags to store. you can upscale the number of bags when you get there with ease.

  • It costs 6 euros per day to store luggage. The tall, thin gentleman was very friendly, and I felt at ease leaving my luggage there for two consecutive days. Unlike a place next to McDonald's that charges 25 euros per day for three pieces of luggage, which only lowered the price after we were about to leave, which was very dishonest.

  • This storage location worked effectively. Their 24 hour access and status was helpful and they responsibly took care of my bag. That said, this Hotel is on the 3rd floor of the building with a tiny elevator that barely fit myself and my suitcase. In addition the elevator was broken upon pick-up, so I had to lug my suitcase down three floors of stairs. All in all, though, I would use this location again.

Bag storage near Roma Termini station for train travelers

Recommended for: international tourists, rail day trippers, airport transit travelers.

Roma Termini handles around 150 million passengers each year. That's a lot of rolling suitcases clogging up platforms. If you've got a few hours between trains or your hotel check-in isn't until later, dragging bags through the Colosseum crowds is no fun. Bounce has 13 storage locations around the Termini area. The Via Gioberti location has stored over 72,000 bags with 6,500+ reviews. It opens early and stays open late, which works well if you're catching a morning train to Florence or coming back from Naples in the evening. From €1.95, you can drop your stuff and walk to the Roman Forum in about 22 minutes. Or take Metro Line B two stops to the Colosseum. Much easier without a 20kg suitcase. The station has 32 platforms, so you're never far from where you need to be. Just exit toward Piazza dei Cinquecento, and most storage spots are within a five-minute walk.

Left luggage options near Piazza dei Cinquecento and the airport bus terminal

Recommended for: airport transit travelers, business travelers.

Piazza dei Cinquecento sits right in front of Termini station. It's where airport buses from Fiumicino and Ciampino drop you off. The Terravision bus takes about 55 minutes from FCO, so if your flight lands early and your accommodation isn't ready, you'll want somewhere to stash your bags. The square recently got a major renovation with new pedestrian areas and a redesigned bus terminal. It's easier to navigate now. Still busy though. Buses arrive or depart roughly every 15 seconds during rush hour. The Via Magenta storage point runs 24/7 and has handled over 34,000 bags. Rating sits at 4.79 from nearly 4,000 reviews. Handy if your flight is late evening and you want dinner near the centro without luggage. The Baths of Diocletian museum is literally across the street from the station. Worth a look while you wait. Each booking comes with €10,000 protection, so your stuff is covered.

Where to find luggage lockers near Via Giolitti and the Esquilino hotels

Recommended for: international tourists, students, rail day trippers, budget travelers.

Via Giolitti runs along the south side of Termini station. Tons of budget hotels, hostels, and B&Bs line the surrounding streets in the Esquilino neighborhood. It's one of Rome's most diverse areas with the multicultural Nuovo Mercato Esquilino nearby. If you're checking out of a hostel at 10 am but your train isn't until 7 pm, traditional luggage lockers at the station can fill up fast. Bounce offers a different approach. Real local shops hold your bags securely. The Via Principe Amedeo location scores 4.87 from 600+ reviews. Opens early, closes late, and works on Sundays. Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica is about an eight-minute walk up the hill. You can see the bell tower from parts of Via Giolitti. With over 22,000 reviews across all Termini locations, travelers clearly trust Bounce for their day out. The app rating is 4.9, so booking takes maybe two minutes.
