Singapore’s Clarke Quay is located on Singapore’s riverside, just upstream from the popular Boat Quay. Historically, Clarke Quay was a mooring location for small boats which worked to carry goods up the river from ships that entered the port. In the latter half of the 20th century, a restoration project transformed Clark Quay from an abandoned neighborhood on a polluted river into a revitalized district full of historical buildings.
