  • Great location, near many walkable sights and historic spots. The coffee shop was clean, staff pleasant enough but it was evident that the coffee shop business was the obvious priority. We would have given this location 5 stars was it not for making us wait while other new customers were being attended to and served. There were 11 other customers served before our luggage was finally stored, even though they came in after us; in other words, we waited with our luggage until they were all served and got their order before our luggage was stored. There were 3 barristas on staff that morning. The luggage pick-up was a little more efficient and timely. If you have lots of time to linger, this is a great location.

  • Bounce luggage storage is a great service for travelers: you pay ahead of time to store your luggage for a short time or several hours depending on your schedule. I used it in Boston recently when I wanted to run around town a little before heading to the airport.

  • Had some time in the city prior to needing to catch a flight and looked into bag storage options to avoid having my 89 year old mom carry her luggage around. Bounce was conveniently located near the subway and the people were very helpful. The “lock up” area didn’t feel super secure so I wouldn’t leave any valuables, but it was very nice to be able to see the city without lugging our bags around.

  • This was a great location for us to store our luggage for half a day, when returning from a cruise. Found it interesting that the location was in a Barber shop but it was perfect for us and good for them for supplying the service.

Get the most out of your time in Rowes Wharf

Luggage storage near Rowes Wharf for waterfront visitors

Recommended for: tourists, event attendees, locals.

If you're heading to Rowes Wharf for a harbor cruise or dinner at one of the waterfront restaurants, dragging a suitcase along the Harborwalk isn't ideal. The cobblestones, the crowds near the Boston Harbor Hotel arch, the salt breeze. Not fun with heavy bags. There's a Bounce location called Waterfront that opens early and has handled over 9,500 bags in this area. Prices start from $2.25. The spot is highly rated, which matters when you're leaving your stuff with strangers. Rowes Wharf sits right where the MBTA ferry connects to Hingham, and water taxis run to Logan Airport. So, if you're catching a flight later, you can store bags, enjoy brunch at the Sea Grille, walk the 43 miles of Harborwalk trails nearby, then grab your luggage on the way out. Pretty simple, honestly. The waterfront gets busy during summer concert season at the floating stage. Stashing your bags lets you enjoy the music without watching your stuff the whole time.

Where to leave your bags near South Station and the Financial District

Recommended for: business travelers, commuters, digital nomads.

Got meetings in the Financial District, but your Amtrak doesn't leave until tonight? That's a common situation around here. South Station is just a short walk from Rowes Wharf, and lugging a rolling bag through Downtown isn't anyone's idea of productive. Bounce has a spot nearby with 900+ reviews from travelers who needed exactly this. The Waterfront location works well for folks moving between the Seaport, Financial District, and the train station. Each booking includes $10,000 protection, so you're covered. Rowes Wharf connects to pretty much everything. The Aquarium Blue Line stop is nearby. South Station has the Red Line plus commuter rail. If you're flying out, water taxis go straight to Logan. You can drop bags, handle your business, grab coffee at one of the spots near Faneuil Hall, then pick everything up before heading out. Smart travelers around here know traveling light through the city just makes the day easier.

Bag storage options near the Boston Convention Center and Seaport

Recommended for: event attendees, business travelers.

Conference at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center? Wedding at one of the Seaport venues? The area around Rowes Wharf sees tons of visitors who need somewhere to leave their bags for a few hours. The Harborwalk connects the Seaport District straight through to Rowes Wharf, so you can walk between locations easily. There's a Bounce storage spot rated 4.8 stars based on what travelers have said. Over 3,500 reservations have already gone through this location. Here's the thing about conventions: you check out of your hotel in the morning, but the last session runs until 5 pm. Or you're attending a gala and don't want to haul your overnight bag into the ballroom. These situations happen constantly. Bounce serves over 2,000,000 customers worldwide, and the Waterfront location fits right into this neighborhood. The area around Rowes Wharf includes the Institute of Contemporary Art and restaurants along the water. Drop your stuff, enjoy the event, and pick up later. That's really all there is to it.
