Layover in Bangkok - the ultimate guide 2024

Suvarnabhumi Airport, as Bangkok’s airport is officially known, lies around 30 km or 18.5 miles from the city it serves. The Express Line used to be able to reach the city in as little as 18 minutes, but service on this line has been suspended. The remaining City Link takes around an hour to reach Makkasan Station, and from there, you may need to take a Metro a couple of stops to really reach the heart of the city.

Layover in Kiev – the ultimate guide 2021

When you're flying into Kiev for a stopover you'll be arriving at the Boryspil International Airport which is located thirty miles outside of Kiev near the city of Boryspil. That means the transition through the necessary channels such as immigration and baggage collection as well as the check-in, passport, and security controls for your Kiev connection can be pretty chaotic.

That's a fact that can make any short layover in Mexico City disappear in a flash and a long layover a whole lot shorter than expected.
