The festival features the Palm Springs Modernism Show, tours of homes, parties, and much more!

Highlights include exclusive tours of iconic homes, vibrant neighborhoods, and significant landmarks. These tours often provide access to private residences, like the famous Showcase Homes, which feature restored and reimagined mid-century designs.

The event is brimming with an exciting lineup of lectures, compelling and informative talks, and workshops. You'll have the chance to explore fascinating topics like preserving modernist architecture and exploring the cultural impact of midcentury modern design. To top it off, you can enjoy film screenings featuring documentaries and period films that beautifully preserve the legacy and influence of the modernist movement.

The Premier Double Decker Bus Tour will take you on a 2.5-hour journey through Palm Springs' notable civic buildings and charming neighborhoods. Guided by experts, enjoy stunning views of Desert Spanish and Midcentury Modern architecture. See landmarks like the McCallum Adobe and the exclusive Villa Paradiso Estate. Don’t miss Albert Frey's cozy “Frey House II” on the mountainside, breathing in the rich history of this desert paradise!

For the classic car show, guest curators Jeff Stork and Tom Dolle have created a fantastic theme, “Bikinis & Bucket Seats,” celebrating the carefree spirit of 1960s California youth culture. You’ll be amazed by over 50 stunning vehicles from the 1950s, 60s, and 70s, all displayed on the west side of the Palm Springs Convention Center.

At the Modernism Week Garden Tours, you can explore the innovative landscapes enhancing Palm Springs' mid-century modern architecture. Stroll through private gardens and public spaces displaying stunning xeriscaping and native plants, emphasizing water conservation.

Another highlight is Modernism Week’s social scene, which includes nightly parties (and many cocktails!), vintage fashion shows, and pop-up events. You can look forward to themed gatherings at exciting locations, often accompanied by live music and retro-inspired cuisine.
