I really liked the place: I chose it because I needed to while away a few hours between two flights: one arriving in Sabiha, the other from the new airport at 2 a.m. The idea was to take the metro from Sabiha to Kadikoy, from there take the ferry to Eminönü, then drop off my suitcase and quickly explore the old town. Everything worked out: a bus took me almost to the destination from the pier, then a short walk through the old cobblestone streets. The guys at the destination were great, one spoke Russian, they gave me tea and a bottle of water, very helpful, and explained where everything was. Hagia Sophia and other wonders of Istanbul were nearby. Then the guys told me how to get to Aksaray and from there to the New Airport. Everything from that destination was quick and easy. I'd like to stop there again if I ever have to.
