The Washington State Apple Blossom Festival started in 1920 and quickly blossomed into one of the state’s most beloved traditions! Wenatchee, known as the "Apple Capital of the World," takes pride in this festival, which unites the community and welcomes visitors to celebrate spring, tradition, and the region’s world-famous apples.
This festival also has a friendly apple-shaped mascot named Blossom, who roams the grounds and brings smiles to kids and families.
Interesting tidbit: In 1967, Wenatchee formed a sister city partnership with Japan's Aomori Apple Flower Festival!
