The NFR also offers a festive atmosphere with concerts, after-parties, and shopping events like the Cowboy Christmas Gift Show.
Since 1985, the NFR has been held in Las Vegas at the Thomas & Mack Center. There was a temporary relocation to Texas in 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions, but it returned to Las Vegas in 2021. The NFR is currently contracted to stay in Las Vegas until at least 2035.
During the 2024 NFR, various country music acts will perform at nightly after-parties and events. While specific performers for every night haven't been fully announced yet, major stars like Tanya Tucker and Midland are confirmed for concerts.
