About Houston Airport
Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) is a major aviation hub with five terminals serving domestic and international flights. It opened in 1969 to replace the overcrowded William P. Hobby Airport as the city's primary airport. Aside from being named after former President Bush, Terminal D also honors a US Congressman, Mickey Leland, who died in an aviation accident.
