About Chiba Station

Set along the eastern shores of Tokyo Bay opposite Tokyo’s vast metro area is Chiba City. Of the cities in the region, Chiba is overlooked as a travel destination as it's primarily regarded as a commuter city. This would be a mistake, as this lovely town provides insight into Japanese culture that you might miss in the hectic energy of Tokyo and Shinjuku.

Chiba Port Tower dominates the Chiba skyline and its observation deck offers absolutely stunning views of Tokyo Bay and the cities clustered along its waters. There truly might not be a better view of Tokyo. Chiba Castle provides a different look into the region’s past as this faithfully reconstructed castle operates as the city’s top historical landmark and a folk museum.

Narita Airport, the second-busiest but still notable travel hub for Tokyo, is situated in Chiba City and is well-interconnected with the greater Tokyo metro area through trains and highways. Along with Narita Airport Station, the primary transit facility for the city is Chiba Station. This transit hub provides connections through the Sobu Line and Narita Line to destinations across Tokyo along with the local Chiba Urban Monorail.

If you're on a layover at Narita Airport or just want to visit the less-explored Chiba City, you can store your bags at our main spot at Chiba Station near Chiba Station or one of the many other luggage storage spots around the city.

How much does Bounce’s luggage storage service cost at Chiba Station?

Some spots will even operate 24 hours a day!

Why is Bounce better than train station coin lockers?

  • Expanded size capacity: Bounce Chiba Station luggage storage locations aren't limited to the dimensions of a locker, so you'll be able to store heavy luggage or even specialty items like golf clubs.
