sooooooooooo very easy! We stayed very close to Waseda University campus and needed to 'off-load' our luggage in Tokyo while we traveled all over Japan for 2 weeks. The cost absolutely makes 100% sense when you realize all of the hundreds and hundreds of stairs you'd have to schlep all of the suitcases through --- plus, luggage space is very limited in restaurants, hotels, subways trains, and Shinkansen express trains.
