The hairdressers, even though they were busy, were very welcoming and the suitcases are right in front of them, so they are quite safe in my opinion.

We used this place twice during our stay near République this year, once when we arrived and again before we left and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Reasonably priced, friendly, efficient, speak good English and are minutes away from both Temple and République metro stations.

It is better to offer to their guest to use the toillet (if necessary). Because its very hard to find one in Paris
