Everything's fine. But I think it's unnecessary to have to pay for luggage storage on the day of departure.

Meninger hotel is well located and reasonably priced. However it is not senior citizen friendly. The bath rooms need improvement in terms of providing grab bars and should avoid allocating rooms where you need to use stairs to senior citizens.

Comfortable and neat

The hotel has a good location. What I didn't like, and what I hadn't encountered before, was the luggage storage fee. Then, around 5 pm, I received an email notification that the luggage was ready for collection. I really missed having basic amenities like glasses in the bathroom or two towels for two people. You could get everything from reception, but nobody wants to go there for every little thing. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. The buffet area was very small. Cashless payment is not accepted at the hotel.

The location of the hotel is really very good, 5 minutes walk from the center and 12 minutes by bus from the airport and train and bus stations. The room was very comfortable and clean, but if you want it cleaned every day, you have to pay extra. The common areas are not as clean as they should be and the elevators did not work very well. If you want to leave your backpacks or suitcases, you have to pay 5 euros (something they should tell you in advance). We checked in at 3 pm, and when they gave us the room it was not ready yet, so we had to go back to reception to make the claim. The staff did not treat us in the best way or apologize. We had to wait another half hour for them to give us a room in good condition, without any kind of compensation or apology. The truth is that it was annoying to get to that point when the expected thing is that the room is clean and in good condition at check-in time.

The instructions for the luggage storage was not clear enough. We need to store our luggage a few hours before check-in. We just asked to scan a QR code to use Bounce. It caused a lot of confusion at the beginning. We expected it was free service for such storage as a proper hotel. If it is chargeable, it is fine but it has to be stated clearly upfront.
