It's always a pleasure to be a guest at Meininger.

The hotel is good, inexpensive, and right near the train station. The downside is check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM (usually 2:00 PM and 12:00 PM, respectively). And it's unclear why they charge extra to leave luggage at reception. It's always been free.

Superb hotel and excellent staff

The bad thing is the staff's attitude; they were all very unhelpful. Another bad thing is that they charge you to leave your luggage before checking in. I had to check in twice because they supposedly didn't know who I was. The good thing is its proximity to the central train station, and you can walk to the old town in 10 minutes. The cleanliness and comfort of the rooms are very good.

Drop off and pick up was a breeze. We felt very comfortable leaving our belongs with the staff of the hotel.

Luggage storage after check-out is possible in the reception room. The customer scans the QR code, simply fills in their details, the size and number of luggage and the time for which they will have the luggage stored, the system automatically calculates the price, which the customer pays online. Then they put their luggage away, the receptionist takes photo documentation. When picking up, the customer presents their QR code from the email again and picks up the luggage. You cannot pay in cash!!, everything is done via smartphone with the need for online payment and access to your email. Luggage storage is charged at this hotel!! For your information, I had a small luggage stored for 5 hours for a price of 4.5 EUR.

Very nice and clean, close to the train station, centrally located, and reasonably priced. I found the luggage storage a bit expensive, but it's better than searching for a long time at the train station and not having everything fit in one locker. I'd rather stay at the hotel. The breakfast was small but good.

A beautiful hotel, very cool, comfortable, and conveniently located near the historic center and the train station. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options, and they were always attentive to ensure everything was perfect.

They know English well and kept our luggages safe.

With just 12euro! We felt secured leaving our valuables in the meantime while we roam around the nearby mall and main station before waiting for the hotel check in! Amazing.

Excellent large hostel. Not expensive and very convenient. Close to transport, city center, shops. Spacious hall, modern interior, friendly staff. I choose the kitchen so as not to depend on the time of reception of food and 24-hour reception. There is a storage room. Payment only by card. Very grateful for the service!

Friendly Staff, great breakfast and room was fine. Floors had not been clean but housekeeping came quickly to clean up. No wash cloths or bath mats in case anyone cares, like I do.

A checked in luggage can fit in the XL storage but be sure to have upper arm strength or someone to help you cause it’s at the top of the luggage lockers

The position for the XL luggage is not so convenient, especially with heavy luggage, one had to man-handle their big and heavy bag up high to put it in, might be dangerous at some point

It's super close to the station, a 5-minute walk away, and it's open 24 hours, so it's perfect for visiting the city without luggage.
