Westfield Shopping City Sud

The SCS shopping center is the largest mall in Austria and a definite must-see when visiting Vienna. There are 330 shops spread across 2,530 000 square feet area, plenty of restaurants, a "Garden Plaza" and a "Water Plaza", kids playground, a movie theatre and so much more. The mall is so big, that you will need a day to cover most shops.

For the best shopping experience, it is best to visit the mall during the week, as it is really crowded on Saturdays. Shops you will find are the usual familiar brands and chain stores like Primark, IKEA, Benetton, C&A, DeCathlon, and Nespresso, but also top fashion designers like Calvin Klein, Armani Exchange, Hugo Boss, Lacoste, Michael Kors, and Tommy Hilfiger. Some stores have sales all year round and are sure to keep everyone's wallets happy.

The mall offers free lockers for all of its customers, so you don't have to carry your coat around the entire time. Getting to the SCS is also easy- you can take a shuttle from the train station for one euro, but it will take you about half an hour to get there by train from the city center (one of the many transport links you can use to get around Vienna). If you know what a U.S. shopping center looks like, this is the closest shopping experience you will get.

Donau Zentrum or Danube Centre

When it is raining outside, there is no better place to go shopping in Vienna than the Donau Zentrum shopping mall. Located in the 22nd district, it is easy to get to via metro line U1.

Donau Zentrum is one of the largest shopping centres in Vienna with over 260 shops selling anything from premium luxury fashion and international brands to watch brands, fine jewelry and art stores that will blow your mind. Wien Mitte the Mall

Located in the center of Vienna, this shopping centre is one of the largest in the heart of Vienna (small mall compared to ones in the USA) and the most modern shopping mall in Vienna, perfect for shopping during cold winter days. Near Wien Mitte Station, The Wien Mitte the Mall is great for a family shopping day out, weekend shopping, or after work shopping. Whether you are looking for beauty products, household goods, shoes, bags, toys, books or electronics, you can find all that and more in this massive shopping destination.

The mall sits on a 323,000 square feet retail area, made of 60 brand name stores, restaurants, bakeries, and coffee shops spread across three floors. Expect to see names like H&M, Calzedonia, Desigual, New Balance, New Yorker, s.Oliver, The Body shop, Swarovski, The North Face, and the like. The restaurants offer food from all over the world and you will find names like Burger Bros, McDonald's, Sushi Cross, Turkis, Wichers, and others.

You can get to The Mall using public transport and any of the ten lines, including the CAT (City Airport Train) as well as the subway by two lines, U3 and U4.

Department Stores And Outlets In Vienna

Steffl

Steffl's convenient location is great for when you need a quick shopping fix. But, be ready to spend. The department store located on Kärntner Straße, near St. Stephen's Cathedral and Vienna State Opera is full of luxury goods and fashion designers' boutiques that are sure to please. So if you are looking for a store where you can find everything and anything at great prices, this is not the place for it.

But, if you are ready to spend, you can shop till you drop covering all 9 floors in maybe a few hours if you are fast. You will find some high-end fashion for women, menswear, kids clothing and shoes, bags, sunglasses, and everything you need, really. Expect to see big brand names like Jimmy Choo, Armani, Alexander McQueen, and the best of the best designers in the world.

Then you can head up to the Sky Bar and restaurant and marvel at the scenic views of Austria's capital, with a cocktail in your hand. The restaurant is the only place in the city where you can get a good view of the mosaic roof of St. Stephen's Cathedral.

You can also snap a photo of a statue of Mozart located on the 7th floor, as the building that stood here before, which was actually the place where the famous composer died. Steffl's central location in the first district makes it super easy to get to. You can either use a bus, tram, or via the U-Bahn stations Stephansplatz and Karlsplatz.

Parndrf Fashion Outlet

Located about an hour from Vienna, this designer brand shopping is the best you will find in Austria. With over 160 of the best brands such as Prada, Armani and Gucci to Tommy Hilfiger, Betty Barclay and Diesel, but also sports labels like Nike and Adidas, this outlet village will make sure you have the best shopping experience in Vienna. Most brands have sales all year round and they go up to 70% off, meaning you can finally buy that Gucci bag or scarf you always wanted.

There is something for everyone here, including your kids, who get to enjoy a specially designed play area. Parking is free and if you are lucky enough you may be a part of a Fashion Shopping Week that happens here three times a year, in March, August and November. Naschmarkt

Naschmarkt is a market made of 120 market stands. Located at the Wienzeile over the Wien River, between the Chain Bridge and Karlsplatz this is the most visited market in Vienna that has been operating since the 1780s. If you are looking for a great day out that includes the most delicious food in Vienna, head down to Naschmarkt where you can find anything from organic food, fish, spices, cheese, antipasti, vegetables, fruits, tea, olives, and whatnot.

The market has become a popular place for tourists and although it is worth the visit, avoid peak season. If you happen to be there on Saturday and looking for something fun to do, check out the flea market of over 400 vendors selling great antiques, paintings, books, jewelry, clocks, vinyl records, and household items. Prices are not as the usual flea markets you see anywhere else, but you may be able to get a good deal on something.
