Fenway Park Bag Policy

Famed Fenway Park, Boston, USA

If you're looking for a major league baseball field that is steeped in history, look no further than Fenway Park in Boston. Home to the Boston Red Sox, the ballpark was opened in 1912 and is the oldest ballpark in the country. Known for its iconic "Green Monster" it is one of the tallest outfield walls in the league. It makes home runs even more exciting! And with a seating capacity of almost 38,000 fans, it can get pretty wild.

While the Red Sox games are always popular, it's not the only event that takes place at Fenway Park. The stadium also hosts concerts and other various events. Thanks to its convenient downtown location in Boston, it makes it easy for tourists to do a little sightseeing at the same time. Some of the popular points of interest include the Boston Aquarium, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts, a stroll along the Boston Common, the Museum of Science, and the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum.

If you've got limited time to get to your event in Fenway Park, just be warned there is a bag policy in effect. Coming straight from the airport, train station, or car service to the ballpark expecting luggage storage on-site will leave you disappointed and struggling to find a last-minute solution. The park doesn't offer any on-site luggage storage, which is why Bounce can be the ultimate solution.

So let's dive into the bag policy and everything else you need to know.

Fans get into the action at Fenway Park

Fenway Park Bag Policy

When it comes to the bags allowed in Fenway Park, they are very specific. Multi-compartment bags such as backpacks, duffel bags, backpack-style purses, and other multi-compartment bags are not allowed. Fans are only allowed one single-compartment bag per person, and it can't be larger than 12" x 12" x 6". Bags larger than the maximum allowed will be strictly prohibited from entering the grounds.

Fans entering Fenway Park are also encouraged to use clear bags. You will still be admitted if it's not a clear bag, but clear bags help to speed up the entry process as you pass through the metal detectors.

Other prohibited items in the bag policy include glass containers and hard-sided coolers. For guests with young children, there is an exception for diaper bags.

Let Bounce Ease Your Mind When it Comes to Luggage Storage While at Fenway Park

We know how excited you must be to catch one of the Red Sox games at the legendary stadium, but because of the strict bag policy and the fact there aren't any on-site lockers, the question is what to do with your luggage. Bounce offers you temporary luggage storage that is easy to book, affordable, and provides you with a safe spot to store your belongings. We work with partners around the city of Boston to offer temporary luggage storage that is off-limits to the public. Just to ease your mind further, we also offer $10,000 protection on each booking.

No matter the size of your bag you'll pay one 24-hour flat rate fee. This means you can take some extra time to explore Boston before or after your event and make the most of your time in the city. We understand how important it is to be free and unfettered without the weight of your luggage to slow you down while exploring.
