The Coconut Grove Arts Festival (CGAF) began in 1963 as a small art show created by Charlie Cinnamon, a legendary theater publicist. Put together by the Coconut Grove Playhouse and a group of local artists, this festival soon became prestigious and now attracts more than 100,000 attendees and over 300 artists.

The festival's location is in Coconut Grove, a charming Miami neighborhood known for its bohemian vibe and rich cultural history. Over the decades, the festival has grown to include visual, culinary, and performing arts, creating a captivating cultural experience.

The festival attracts numerous notable figures in the art world and beyond. Some artists achieved national and international recognition by presenting their work at this festival! One such example is David Le Batard (Lebo), a prominent Cuban-American muralist and graphic artist known for his colorful and whimsical style. You should purchase tickets online in advance after they go on sale, and add them to your phone wallet. Tickets can be purchased at kiosks located at festival entrances on McFarlane Road, 27th Avenue, and Pan American Road. The event is paperless, and all tickets are digital!

The festival hours are Saturday to Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm and Monday from 10 am to 5 pm.

• Metrorail: Take the Metrorail to the Coconut Grove Station. You can use the free Miami-Dade Trolley or bus services to get to the festival grounds from there.
• Bus: Several Miami-Dade Transit buses serve Coconut Grove. Check local schedules for routes stopping near Bayshore Drive.
