What to Expect When Attending Detroit Auto Show 2025

The event has three segments: Charity Preview, Industry Days, and the Public Show.

The Charity Preview on January 10 will be a black-tie gala before the public opening, offering a first look at exhibits while raising funds for local children's charities. It's also a media day where you can find the 2025 North American Car, Truck, and Utility Vehicle winners. Live music is also part of this day. Multi-platinum recording artist and hip-hop icon Flo Rida will headline the black-tie Charity Preview, so prepare for a good vibe!

Industry Days are dedicated to automotive professionals, providing exclusive access to unveilings, panels, and networking opportunities with industry leaders. They will last two days, January 15 and 16. On these days, the Mobility Global Forum will be held. This forum discusses electrification, autonomous vehicles, sustainable transportation, and smart city integration.

Finally, the Public Show is open to everyone and features the latest vehicles, interactive exhibits, and family-friendly activities. It will take place from January 11 to 20, 2025.

Expect world premieres of the latest cars, SUVs, trucks, and luxury vehicles from leading automakers. The show is a global stage where brands unveil innovative designs and ever-growing technologies. From sleek concept cars to high-performance sports cars and family-friendly electric vehicles, with impressive reveals throughout.

Since the event expanded to include outdoor events, you can expect a vibrant festival-like setting outside Huntington Place. From large vehicle displays to live music, food trucks, and family-friendly activities, these additions will create a lively environment for all ages.

It looks like we’re in for some chilly weather. Daytime temperatures will be around -1 C (30 F), and at night, they may drop to a brisk -8 C (17 F). Some snow is also in the forecast, so make sure to bundle up in layers, wear your warmest boots, and don’t forget to grab an umbrella!

Ticket sales end on January 20. The prices for the Public Show are $20 for adults, $12 for seniors, and $10 for kids. The Industry Days ticket is $40 per day, and the Charity Preview ticket is $400 or $700 per pair. Children two and under can enter for free. Car: Huntington Place (formerly TCF Center) is located at 1 Washington Blvd, Detroit, MI 48226, USA. Huntington Place parking garage is at 1 Washington Blvd., with direct access to the venue.
