All about Broadway luggage storage
When you're planning your trip to Nashville, the image in your head most likely involves the Broadway Historic District (or Lower Broadway). This bar-lined street flanked by the Cumberland River on one side, is the most appealing part of downtown Nashville and the centerpiece of the city’s cultural heritage. The quintessential Nashville experience was basically invented on Broadway, with dozens of honky tonk bars and saloons lining the street.
You’ll want to explore multiple neighborhoods on your dining journey through Nashville, but Broadway is the best place for an introductory meal. You'll get to feast on staples like Nashville hot chicken and BBQ (spoiler: none of this is meant to be healthy). Nashville’s music scene is its biggest draw (it’s not nicknamed ‘Music City’ for nothing) and Broadway is home to iconic venues like Ryman Auditorium, which is widely considered a bucket-list destination for live music. You’ll find plenty of smaller venues around Broadway to catch a show.
There are plenty of other hotspots to see in Nashville, but Broadway should be your first stop when you arrive in town. If you still have your bags, you can use Bounce to store luggage in Nashville to free yourself up for shopping or bar-hopping. You certainly can’t line-dance with your roller bag or shopping bags and luggage lockers are tricky to find in the city.

Getting around Broadway
Broadway runs through the downtown area of Nashville and is a hive of activity. You'll have an easy time hailing a taxi or getting picked up by a rideshare service. It's centrally located and is easy to reach by car, but parking can be a concern as Broadway is the epicenter of Nashville's nightlife scene. In any case, driving isn't recommended as you'll likely be spending ample time at rooftop bars and honky-tonks. Unfortunately, public transportation is not as much of a factor in Nashville.
Broadway by train
Riverfront Station, situated a manageable walk from the main stretch of Broadway, is the Nashville terminus for the WeGo Star regional train. WeGo provides a convenient connection for commuters across central Tennessee, but it isn't of much use for most out-of-towners or international travelers.
Walkable attractions from Broadway
Bridgestone Arena, Tennessee Performing Arts Center, and Ascend Amphitheater are all within a short walk of Broadway’s main stretch. Even Nissan Stadium is reachable within half an hour. Once you're on Broadway, you have dozens of dining and nightlife options at your fingertips. From one end of Broadway to the other, it takes about 25 minutes to walk the full length of the district. And from the northeast end of Broadway, you'll get great views of the Cumberland Riverfront Park.
Bus services for Broadway
Most visitors tend to rely on taxis or rideshare to get between Nashville’s neighborhoods, but thrifty travelers can utilize the public bus network for a few trips.
- #3: Music Row (25 minutes), Vanderbilt University (30 minutes)
- #7: The Gulch (15 minutes)
- #8: Tennessee State Capitol (10 minutes)
Because of the limited public transportation infrastructure and remote location outside of the city center, most visitors, either rent a car or take a cab from Nashville International Airport. The ride takes about 30 minutes depending on traffic conditions. There is also the #18 bus route operated by WeGo that runs to downtown Nashville. It costs only $2 and takes just under an hour.
There's simply too much to do on Broadway to waste time by heading to your hotel just to drop the bags off. Instead, you can drop the bags off with Bounce at a great location near the shops, restaurants, and bars along this energetic stretch of Broadway and get your honky-tonk and adventure started right away.
