You can take the iconic Vaporetto water taxis directly from Venice Airport into the city, but they cost between $150 and $200. If you're willing to splurge and ride in style into the city, you can book a water taxi right at the arrivals hall. 

Bus terminal from VCE to the City Center

The airport is served by a number of bus lines used to reach the city or other transit facilities. You can take the ‘Centro’ exit at the arrivals hall to find the bus stand.

• Line #15: Venezia Santa Lucia Train Station (30 minutes), Ponte della Costituzione (35 minutes), Piazzale Roma (35 minutes)

• Piazza San Marco: St. Mark’s Square is the bustling center of Venice, and you can take the #5 bus from the airport to Venezia Station and then hop on the water bus (vaporretti) to the square. • Doge’s Palace: Palazzo Ducale is the epitome of the Venetian Gothic architectural style and a must-visit. It takes an hour to get there via the #5 bus into Venezia Station and the 5.1 Vaporetti will take you the rest of the way. 
• Venice Mestre Railway Station: This is the city’s main hub for long-distance trains and is easily reached in 25 minutes via the #15 bus directly from the arrivals terminal.
