Luggage storage Positano Spiaggia

I will give a 5 star but not the most feeling of secure in the world. But as I had no problems and it was pretty close to the pier max 3 minutes I will rate 5. Basically its on Caravella Positano no 23. You will see a gate there. It was a lady there she was friendly but the luggages just stayed similar to a hotel. No locker or something. But we had no valuable stuff inside only clothes, so we did not care much. We took the money and ids with us. The price was approx a bit pricey, 13 eur for two small backpacks, but hey in positano everything is expensive. :)

Very kind lady. When we went to pickup our bags we didn’t immediately see her but someone went and informed her that we were retrieving our bags so I have confidence they were secure while we were away. Was a little tricky to find. Go down the walkway between blu bar and residence La Caravella. There is a black gate with a 23 number. Follow the path up a few stairs til you hit the back wall and follow the path to the right to the back entrance of the hotel. She had us store our bags in a closet that although it was not locked, I have confidence you’d have a hard time finding this location unless you knew exactly what to look for.

It's very difficult to find a place to leave luggage in Positano. The marina service charged us €10 per bag!! And we had one suitcase and two backpacks. Besides, the bags were under a parasol, outdoors, all day. Luckily we found La Caravella, where we were kindly attended to by a friendly grandmother who kept our bags in a cool place (we had food with us). At first we were very apprehensive because of the comments saying it was difficult to find, but one of the comments helped a lot in finding the place and it's very practical. Leaving the marina, just walk to the right, very close to the beach, where all those restaurants are. And after passing the terrace of the last restaurant, you can see a white gate. Next to that gate there are two semi-detached houses. Just enter that gate and turn right. You're right there. Then you just have to enter the PIN code that appears below the QR code you receive when you book. It saved our day!

Difficult to find… actually, it's before the two residences; there's a path between the vacation rentals and a restaurant, at the end of which there's a gate.

Very friendly and close to the port without having to deal with steps.

It is not indicated where it is and you go a little crazy to find it, you have to enter through a door with bars and go up some stairs, to the left behind the La Caravella hotel. Once there there is a very friendly woman who collects the suitcases and is there all day. They leave the suitcases in a basement. Highly recommended if you want to spend a day in Positano and have to leave your luggage.

Ideal to leave your suitcase while you see Positano. You enter through a small door with the number 23 between the Blue Bar and the Caravella hotel. Is on the beachfront.

A bit hard to find, the entrance was around the back of the building but we got there. Great location by the beach and they were flexible with drop off/pick up times :)

Easy check in and there was a worker on premises at drop off and pick up that made me feel safe about leaving my luggage.

Location is very near to the main beach and the port area, ~3-5mins walk. They could improve the directions to the bag dropping area - it was a little confusing to find for the first time.

It was a little difficult to find the drop off spot and if it hadn't been for a lady calling out to us from a balcony we could have been searching for a while. The luggage was still dropped off ok and was safely picked up.

It was not so easy to leave the luggage but excellent location to take the ferry

She was found using the comments. Communication was a bit difficult, but ultimately a good option at the port of Positano.

Hard to find using Maps or Google. Look for a gate with number 23 - La Caravella Positano. Go through the gate, up the stairs and follow through to the right.

The place is close to the pier. But the entrance is tricky to find. Friendly staff.

The location is a bit trickey to find and once you reach the location through direction given in comments, the lady attending luggage takes a bit time to get there. But, otherwise - very good experience

Convenient location to drop off luggage, however not easy to find (thanks to previous reviews that described it well): Walk along the beach, then go to number 23 (the number is on a gray/black gate). Go through the gate, climb a few steps then go straight to the wall. Go around the hotel on the right then enter through the back of the hotel. Take the stairs that go down then knock on the door or say hello to get the staff to come. We met very friendly staff there, the reservation went very well and the location is ideal for storing luggage for the day!

Number 23 remained untraceable, and there was no sign or visible indication to find the place :-( Fortunately, previous comments indicated to go through the black gate then at the end take a small staircase then go along the back of the hotel then return on our right going down towards the basement where the lady was there to receive our bags; PHEW!!!!

The location was good as it was on the main beach. However, the check-in process was not easy. First of all, the phone number provided did not connect and the reception was difficult to find as it was hidden at the back of the building.

The luggage is left in a hallway in the basement. A security camera appears to be monitoring everything. To get it back, the lady told you to pick them up at the same place.

It may be a little shabby, but it's the best location. Thanks to you, I kept my luggage safely.

Was good, but it was not kept in a locked room

Kind of hard to find and lots of stairs so tough to carry luggages but owner friendly.

Near the port. Very comfortable if you come by ferry
