Nice hotel to stay in. Very clean and good price. We were happy to have a kitchen where we can use it anytime. We were allowed to bring food from outside, cook it there and eat it in the eating area. We didn’t have to pay for breakfast and made our own. Across from the hotel on the corner, was a 1950s dinner. They had great American breakfast ( pancakes etc) the open at 11. Transportation was 100 meter away amd Bahnhof only 2 km. The train 22 Takes you to Bischmarkplatz in 5 min ans fr there Bus 32 to Universität . Where everything is. The whole commute was like 10 minutes . I love the place and i would recommend it. The only downside: charge 6,50 to hold your luggage in the basement. Hey you cannot have it all:) greetings

The Meininger Hotel is centrally located near the main station. There is a tram about 150m away. The staff is very friendly throughout, the hotel is modern and absolutely clean. The breakfast was good with little room for improvement (selection of cheese and sausage). For me, the mattresses are acceptable but not great (very thin and soft). The horrendous fees for luggage storage are incomprehensible to me. €5/piece of luggage and an additional €4.95 fee. I've never experienced that before with 15-20 hotels a year. Since this is not a decision of the local hotel, I see no reason for a lower rating.

Everything is excellent with this place to leave your suitcase. It just took me a while to realize (from the description within Bounce) that the place being referenced was actually the MEININGER Hotel.

The concierge we met to check in our luggage was extremely friendly, courteous, responsive, and helpful. Check-in was smooth and I received good help with directions to reach my next engagement.

Good! Very clean, close to the center. I only found luggage storage expensive! 13 euros for two suitcases! Otherwise, it's very comfortable, clean, and nice!

Very basic but clean. There is no shelf in the bathroom to put toiletries or toiletry bags. Staff friendly. Additional costs for luggage storage.

Everything worked out great, reception 👍, room and bathroom OK, we just thought 6 € for storing a suitcase was too expensive, but it's in the terms and conditions, we had overlooked that.

The staff were super friendly, they let us use the hotel facilities (bathroom and kitchen). I give it a 4⭐️ because it is half an hour from the center. The rest, all spectacular!!
