  • The people from the gift shop were really nice! We even went shopping there. But it’s so disappointing they aren’t allowed to put up a Bounce sign on the front of the store:( The site also doesn’t automatically provide the picture of the store. After the booking, you have to check the details to see it. The location on Google Maps wasn’t accurate either.

Left luggage near Cambridge Railway Station

Recommended for: rail day trippers from london, overnight leisure tourists, business travelers.

If you're stepping off the train at Cambridge Railway Station, you'll quickly notice there aren't any lockers inside the station itself. It's a common frustration for day trippers heading into the city centre for punting or college visits. The good news? Bounce has you covered with 13 storage spots around Cambridge. The Near Hills Road College location is open on Sundays and sits just a short walk from the station, with a 4.7 rating from 20+ reviews. Perfect for dropping your bags before wandering up to King's Parade or the Botanic Gardens. Prices start from £1.95, and you can pick up your stuff later in the day before catching your train back to London. No need to drag your suitcase across those cobbled streets or through the crowded college courtyards.

Bag storage options in Cambridge city centre

Recommended for: leisure tourists visiting colleges, students and visiting parents, event attendees at corn exchange.

Cambridge city centre is compact, which is lovely for walking but not so lovely when you're hauling a suitcase between Market Square and King's College Chapel. Bounce has several spots right in the heart of things. The Parker's Piece location is the most popular in the city, with over 2,200 bags stored and 250+ reviews at a 4.7 rating. It's near enough to the main tourist spots that you can drop your stuff and be at the Fitzwilliam Museum or The Backs within minutes. Another option, the Central Cambridge location near the Corpus Clock, stays open on Sundays. Bounce has handled over 5,100 bags across Cambridge, so plenty of visitors have already figured this out. Each booking includes £10,000 protection, which gives you peace of mind while you're watching punts glide under the Mathematical Bridge.

Where to store luggage when visiting Cambridge colleges

Recommended for: international students moving between housing, parents visiting during term time, overnight tourists checking out early.

Visiting Cambridge's colleges with a big bag is awkward. Most won't let you in with luggage, and the narrow passages weren't built for wheeled suitcases. If you've checked out of your hotel but your train isn't until evening, stashing your bags somewhere central makes sense. The City Centre Bounce location has a perfect 5.0 rating from its reviews. There's also the Cambridge location near the Corpus Clock, which stays open late and on Sundays. Handy if you're catching a late train or want to grab dinner on Mill Road after collecting your things. With 540+ reviews across Cambridge, travellers clearly trust Bounce for this sort of thing. The app is rated 4.9, so booking takes just a minute on your phone. Then you're free to wander through Trinity's Great Court or sit by the river without worrying about your stuff.
