Shopkeepers were nice, prompt with helping us, and they let us take our bag to the storage spot so we could see where it would be. No unexpected surprises.

Good location right in the city center, but if you bring a lot of suitcases or large ones it will be difficult because of the narrowness of the staircase, my things were safe.
