The Spandau Christmas Market, known as Spandauer Weihnachtsmarkt, is one of Berlin's most cherished holiday markets, celebrated for its traditional German ambiance, historic charm, and festive spirit. It’s nestled in the heart of Spandau's Altstadt (Old Town), known for its majestic cobblestone streets, half-timbered houses, and historic buildings. These add to the charisma of the Spandau Christmas Market, along with twinkling lights, many beautifully adorned Christmas trees, and Christmas ornaments. Truly a festive atmosphere!

The market takes place around the Marktplatz and on the southern part of the Reformation Square by the historic St. Nicholas Church, one of Berlin's oldest churches dating back to the 14th century.

The market square will attract many people who enjoy live music. Expect to hear classic German carols that capture the holiday spirit, such as "O Tannenbaum" and "Stille Nacht" (Silent Night). These songs are performed by local choirs or small ensembles, adding a warm, nostalgic vibe.

The Spandau Christmas Market will be open Monday to Thursday from 11 am to 8 pm,  and Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 10 pm. See you there!
