Luggage Storage Near Gateway Arch
Without a doubt, the Gateway Arch is St. Louis’ most iconic landmark. It’s probably harder to find photos of the Lou that don’t feature this massive monument. For crying out loud, the Arch is the reason why people call St. Louis the “Gateway to the West”! Eero Saarinen and his firm designed this building in 1947. They built the Arch to be the largest man-made structure of its kind in the entire Western Hemisphere. To this day, no other arch-type structure has surpassed this one.
