Heart of Sharjah
This very cool project aims to restore the heart of Sharjah city to its former beauty. Most of this part of the city center dates back to the 1950s, but there are older areas of the city that are being actively preserved as well. The restorations are planned to cover a 15-year period, with completion projected for 2025. There are train and bus stations that service this part of the city if you want to check it out. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes since you will need to wander a bit to see the whole exhibit.
Sharjah Aquarium
There are two floors and more than 100 different animals at this beautiful aquarium. Kids and adults alike will have a great time here. There is a rehab center here as well and you can learn all about the efforts of the team that work at the aquarium to preserve endangered species and help animals get back into the wild. In all, 20 different tanks house everything from coral reefs to lagoons, and a visit to the Maritime Museum is included with your aquarium ticket.
Sharjah Classic Cars Museum
Lovers of classic cars will have an amazing time at this museum. There are more than 100 vehicles on display here and the earliest models date back to 1917. There are also some exhibits about the history associated with these cars for those who are not car fanatics. There is also a little food court here so you can enjoy a meal while you are visiting.
