Frequently
asked questions

  • How much does luggage storage cost in Graz?

We charge from €3.00 per day (24 hours) for luggage storage in Graz.

  • Does Graz have luggage lockers?

Yes, but they're not always the best option. Luggage lockers can fill up quickly and may be unavailable when you need them. Some luggage lockers may be too small to fit large or bulky items. Unlike luggage lockers, we don't charge per hour and instead charge a flat rate for 24 hours of storage. We also have partners who watch over your stuff to make sure it's safe, and can answer any questions you may have or give you advice on what to do in Graz.

  • How does Bounce luggage storage work?

We partner with local businesses around the world who have secure spaces to store luggage for travelers. Just tell us how many bags you have and when you need storage, and we'll show you convenient places you can keep your stuff safe while you explore.

Booking online is super easy and only takes a couple of minutes. To keep our partners and your stuff safe, we'll show you the address of the store once you book online. When you're ready, head to the store and show the Bounce Partner your booking confirmation so they can take your bags and securely store them right away. Then you can enjoy your day without having to worry about your bags!

To pick up your bags, show the Bounce Partner your booking confirmation and they'll hand over your stuff. That's it!
  • Where is my luggage stored?

We only partner with trusted businesses who have a dedicated, secure place to keep your luggage safe. Some businesses may store luggage behind a counter that's off-limits to customers, while others may have storage rooms or closets for your luggage. But no matter where you choose to leave your luggage, our partners will keep it safe.

  • What can I store with Bounce?

Luggage, backpacks, gym bags, and more! Bounce is like having a personal storage facility for your stuff anywhere you go, so you can leave much more than just luggage with us. Whether you want to store your luggage after checking out of your Airbnb or want to drop off your work bag before hitting happy hour, we've got you covered.

We don't charge extra for oversized items, but some special items might need to be approved before you can store them. For example, surfboards, guitars, car seats, bicycles, or skis take up a lot of space, so let us know if you have them. We can check with the Bounce Partner for you to make sure they have room for your stuff.
  • Is there hourly luggage storage in Graz?

Yes, but many companies charge per hour and costs can add up fast. We charge one price for 24 hours of storage, so storing your stuff is more affordable in Graz.

  • How long can I leave my luggage with Bounce?

Whether you need storage for a couple of hours or a couple of days, we've got you covered! Just put in the dates and times you need luggage storage and we'll show you all of the available locations on our map. For long-term storage lasting more than a week, reach out to us and we'll help you find a convenient location.

If you're already storing your stuff but you need more time, you can add more time from your booking details page. Just make sure the store will be open and you can get your bags before your new pickup time.
  • How do I change or cancel my booking?

Plans change, we get it! If you need to change or cancel your booking for any reason, the best way to do it is from your booking details page in the Bounce app. You can edit the dates, drop-off and pick-up times, and number of bags. You can also cancel your booking or rebook at a nearby store. If you can't find your booking details, check the email address you used to make your booking. You can change your booking by following the link there, or reach out to us if you need support.

About Graz

Graz is a city located in Styria, Austria. With a population of over 300,000 people, Graz is the second-largest city in Austria after Vienna. Around a sixth of Graz's residents are students, due to the numerous universities and colleges dotted across the city. Many famous scientists studied at universities in Graz, including Nikola Tesla and Erwin Schrodinger.

The area that's now Graz has been inhabited before Roman times. It was first called Graz in the 12th century when the dukes of Babenberg made it one of the largest commercial hubs in Austria. In the 15th century, The Habsburgs made Graz the capital of inner Austria, and the city's first university was founded shortly afterward. During World War II, Graz wasn't severely damaged by Allied bombings, meaning its historic center is one of Europe's best-preserved old town districts.

Graz has become a popular tourist destination thanks to its beautiful historic buildings and world-class museums.

Fun Fact: Bodybuilder, actor, and former governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger was born in Graz.

Attractions and activities in Graz

  • Schlossberg: Graz's Schlossberg dominates the city's skyline and is the most recognizable landmark in the city. Roughly translating to "castle hill," Schlossberg is a fortification standing atop a 1,300-foot tall hill at the center of Graz. The city's name originates from the castle, which was built on this hill in the 11th century. Now a public park and historic site, visitors and locals flock to Schlossberg to enjoy panoramic views of Graz. One of the best ways to see the city is by climbing the stairs to the top of Schlossberg's clock tower.
Getting to the top of Schlossberg is a unique experience, thanks to the funicular that has been running since the late 19th century. Once you're up by the fortress, ensure you climb down the 260 steps to the hill's lavish gardens created by the Baron of Weldon in the mid 19th century. You won't want to lug any heavy bags around this steep hill, so check in at a Graz luggage storage service before visiting.
  • Kunsthaus Graz: One of Graz's most unusual modern buildings, the Kunsthaus is a must-visit for any lover of contemporary art. The Kunsthaus was opened in 2003 to celebrate Graz being crowned the European Capital of Culture. One of the best contemporary art museums in Austria, Kunsthaus, hosts an array of temporary and permanent installations, paintings, collages, and much more. Some of the most interesting permanent exhibits on display at the Kunsthaus includes installations by Oliver Klimpel, Peter Kogler, and Esther Stocker. You can't bring bulky personal items into most of the museum's exhibition spaces, so stop by a Graz luggage storage service first.
  • Eggenberg Palace: Eggenberg Palace is a baroque masterpiece and regarded as one of the most important castles in Austria. The castle was constructed between the 14th and 17th centuries and was originally home to Balthasar Eggenberger, who was essential to the rise of the House of Eggenburg. Visitors are welcome to tour part of the palace, namely the 24 extravagant state rooms.
One of the state rooms' highlights is the Planetary Room. This room features a cycle of amazing paintings by Hans Adam Weissenkircher, portraying the signs of the zodiac, the planets, and the Golden Age of the House of Eggenberg. While marveling at these lavish state rooms, you'll see over 500 ceiling paintings of everything from Biblical stories to mythological scenes. After touring the palace, head out for a stroll around the opulent planetary gardens. You can't bring large bags into Eggenberg Palace, so head to a luggage storage service in Graz before taking a tour.
