Yes, but they're not always the best option. Luggage lockers can fill up quickly and may be unavailable when you need them. Some luggage lockers may be too small to fit large or bulky items. Unlike luggage lockers, we don't charge per hour and instead charge a flat rate for 24 hours of storage. We also have partners who watch over your stuff to make sure it's safe, and can answer any questions you may have or give you advice on what to do in Chamonix.
We only partner with trusted businesses who have a dedicated, secure place to keep your luggage safe. Some businesses may store luggage behind a counter that's off-limits to customers, while others may have storage rooms or closets for your luggage. But no matter where you choose to leave your luggage, our partners will keep it safe.
Yes, but many companies charge per hour and costs can add up fast. We charge one price for 24 hours of storage, so storing your stuff is more affordable in Chamonix.

When it's warm out, you can go white-water rafting, trekking through forests and past lakes, or hiking on the beautiful Tour du Mont Blanc.
The town of Chamonix offers lots to do, with an open-air market, casino, and so much more. Whether you're skiing down the slopes or discovering the town, leave your bags stored with us. Open the Bounce app, search 'luggage storage Chamonix,' and book a place to stow your things. It's that easy!

Gare Chamonix is the city's main train station. It connects to the Chamonix Aiguille du Midi station and destinations like Bellegarde and Annecy. You can even reach Paris by train from Chamonix train station, although you'll need to transfer trains once. You can also use the train to reach the Mer de Glace, the largest glacier in France. We highly recommend seeing the glacier, but be sure to stow your non-essentials in Chamonix before departing on the train.
The Chamonix bus station is where all the local buses depart, and you can get around the entire city center from here. It also offers connections to several destinations in France, and you can easily reach cities like Lyon, Paris, and Dijon. The Chamonix bus station offers routes to more locations in Switzerland, like Geneva, and even some places in Italy, including Rome, Turin, and Milan. If you're heading out of town for the day, leave your suitcases safely stowed with Bounce.
The Mont Blanc Gondola is a cable car service that features breathtaking views of the mountain range while you cross the French-Italian border. The gondola spans between the Aiguille du Midi in France and Skyway Monte Bianco in Italy while traveling over the Geant glacier. It's important to note that the cable car is only open during the summer months, but it's well worth checking out if it's available during your trip. Avoid bringing big bags and suitcases on the gondola. We'll watch your things while you enjoy the views.
Parc de Merlet is a nature reserve located close to Chamonix and is a fantastic spot to see the local wildlife in their natural habitat. The park encompasses 21 hectares of sprawling meadows and shaded woodlands where eight animal species can roam and live freely. It's fun to wander through the park on foot during the summer, and in the winter months, they offer guided walks on snowshoes. However, it's not easy to explore the park carrying bags, especially in the wintertime. Store your luggage before you visit.
